In short
On DomeniuLiber.ro, MIRAKL SRL sells domain names, which are digital services. This page explains how they are “delivered”, that is, registered or transferred, and the usual timeframes.
No physical delivery
We do not deliver physical products and we do not charge delivery costs. Domains are registered electronically with the domain registries, and confirmations are sent to you by e-mail and appear in your client account on DomeniuLiber.ro (https://domeniuliber.ro/account).
Domain registration
- You check the domain's availability on the website and order it, filling in the holder's details.
- Once payment is confirmed, we submit the registration request to the registry for the extension (ROTLD for .ro, EURid for .eu, or the partner registrar for .com and the other extensions).
- The domain is considered registered once the registry confirms it. You receive a confirmation e-mail, and the domain appears as “active” in your account.
Usual timeframe: a few minutes after payment is confirmed. However, the timeframe depends on the registry.
Some extensions (for example .tm.ro) require documents or additional conditions to be checked and may take longer. For some extensions the holder's e-mail address must be confirmed; follow the instructions in the verification e-mail.
If the domain has been registered by someone else in the meantime, if the registry rejects the request or if you do not meet the eligibility conditions (for example for .eu), we will let you know and refund the amount you paid for the domain.
Online domain orders include your agreement to immediate registration. If you are a consumer and you asked us in advance, by e-mail, to register the domain only after the withdrawal period, the domain is registered once the 14 days have expired, if it is still available (see Right of withdrawal).
Domain transfers
- You obtain the authorisation code (EPP code) from your current registrar, where the extension uses one, and make sure the domain is not locked against transfer.
- You place the transfer order, enter the EPP code and pay.
- Once payment is confirmed, we initiate the transfer with the registry.
- The transfer is completed once confirmed by the registry and, where applicable, by the current registrar or the holder (for example by approving a confirmation e-mail).
How long a transfer takes depends on the extension, the registry and the current registrar: it can be a few minutes or it can take a few days (for some generic domains, up to about 5–7 days). The domain stays active during the transfer. The transfer may fail if the EPP code is wrong, if the domain is locked, has expired, or was recently registered or transferred, or if the current registrar or the holder rejects the transfer. In that case we will let you know, and if the transfer cannot be completed we will refund the amount you paid for it.
Renewal
The renewal invoice appears in your account before the expiry date and is also sent to you by e-mail. After payment, we submit the renewal to the registry, and the new expiry date appears in your account, usually within a few minutes.
Pending payments and manual checks
- Pending payment: registration starts only after NETOPIA Payments confirms the payment. If the payment is being processed or requires additional authentication with your bank (for example 3-D Secure), the order remains “pending” until it is confirmed.
- Declined payment: if the payment fails, the domain is not registered. You can retry the payment from your client account, from the unpaid invoice. Until payment is made, the domain may be registered by someone else.
- Manual checks: some orders may be checked manually by our team, for example to prevent fraud or to verify the holder's details (a legal obligation under NIS2). In that case we may contact you by e-mail for clarification or documents. The timeframe starts once the check has been completed.
- If an order cannot be approved, we cancel it and refund the full amount paid, using the same payment method.
Managing your domain
- In your client account you can see the expiry date, change the name servers (nameservers), get the transfer code (EPP) and pay for renewals.
- Confirmations are sent by e-mail to the address in your account. Please also check your spam folder.

If the domain does not appear as active within the timeframes above or you have not received the confirmation e-mail, write to us at [email protected] or use the contact form, quoting your order number. The full conditions are set out in the Terms and Conditions.
